Iraq’s Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh for talks, according to a statement on X from his office.
– In an article on Iraqi-Saudi relations published on Tuesday, al-Zaidi said: “Relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia are of particular strategic importance, given the political and economic weight of both countries, as well as their shared Arab ties and common geographic, economic, and security interests.
– “Iraq’s security and Saudi Arabia’s stability form part of a broader equation for Gulf security and regional stability.”
