US President Donald Trump is ready to ease his anti-Iranian sanctions and unfreeze its immobilized assets in exchange for Tehran’s compliance with US demands regarding its nuclear program, US journalist Barak Ravid wrote on X, citing an unnamed US official.
– “President Trump is willing to give Iran sanctions relief and release of frozen funds for concrete progress on nuclear,” said Ravid, a correspondent for Axios and Israel’s Channel 12.
– He gave no further details.
– The Iranian government stated on multiple occasions that it was not seeking to obtain a nuclear weapon.
