Oman and the UK have discussed regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions and creating conditions to address outstanding issues through dialogue and negotiations, the Omani foreign ministry said.
– Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and his British counterpart Ed Miliband discussed the issues during a phone call, according to the ministry.
– The two ministers exchanged views on ways to overcome obstacles facing political efforts and stressed the importance of building on opportunities for understanding and translating them into practical steps toward consolidating de-escalation.
