At the margins of the European Arctic Summit, I had an excellent exchange with Denmark’s Statsministeriet Mette Frederiksen, as part of my #TourdesCapitales mission to speak with each leader in person. 🇩🇰
We discussed our common efforts to build a more secure, resilient, and competitive Europe.
We’re investing in the security and defence of the whole EU – including here in the Arctic.
We also need a budget for the future – one that reinforces trust in Europe’s economy and security and addresses the expectations of our citizens. That’s why we need to find an agreement on the next long-term EU budget by the end of this year.
