Ukraine will shortly receive $841M in budgetary support from the World Bank under the Government of Canada’s guarantees.
Funds are provided within the PEACE in Ukraine project. The resource will be directed to reimburse State Budget expenditures on pension payments.
Amid budget deficit and fiscal imbalance, this is rather crucial and timely support.
